One of the most popular internet community in the world, 4Chan, has been bugging the hell out of Twitter lately. The mostly underground community of hackers and slackers has recently established war with the increaslingly popular Twitter. Why? Who knows, probably just to mess with the status machine.
The war on Twitter is subtly called Operation Shitter with these instructions:
1. Create Twitter accounts
2. Post messaged including the #gorillapenis hashtag
3. Make #gorillapenis a Trending Topic on Twitter
4. ????
5. PROFIT
The hashtags have since been dealt with, but the fake usernames are bothersome. Let's see how this pans out. |

Just Landed is a beautiful geo-visualization of tweets containing the words “Just landed in…”. It finds the tweets containing the phrase, checks for the location they’ve landed in, and the location they were sent from, and shows all this on a 3D map of the world. |
